Nicknamed “Crazy Mama”, the female leopard was brought to N/a’an ku sê recently with her two leopard cubs, Shakira and Ombilie. She is very wild and frequently storms around the enclosure, roaring and stamping her paws. She will only be with us for a very short while as it’s important that she doesn’t become too used to humans before being released.
Duma, as cool as ever, doesn’t seem too bothered by the noise and mayhem next door though! She is still active and actually becoming more friendly with those who go to feed her. She often comes to the fence at feeding time to see who’s visiting her each time!
